If the existing faucet is dripping, leaking or difficult to operate, replacement isn’t automatically necessary. Depending on its condition and the fault, repair may be a practical option.

Can you replace an existing faucet with a new one?
Yes. The existing fixture and connections can be assessed, the old faucet removed and a suitable replacement installed.
Can I supply my own faucet?
A customer-supplied faucet can be installed when it is suitable for the sink configuration and existing plumbing.
What is checked after the faucet is installed?
The fixture should be operated and the accessible water connections checked for leaks, while confirming normal hot and cold water operation.
What if there is a problem with the plumbing under the sink?
Existing valves, connections or piping can sometimes need attention before or during fixture installation. The appropriate repair depends on what is found.
